Booking a free trial session is the best way for me to assess your starting level honestly. I confess that I prefer seeing how you hold the instrument before we touch a single song.
This initial meeting allows us to determine if you need help with barre chords or songwriting structure. Hobbyists and performance-focused students usually find this approach keeps them from feeling overwhelmed by unnecessary theory.
With my background in performance, I focus on how to make your hands move efficiently on the fretboard. We address your specific challenges in a way that feels organic. You should leave our first meeting with a clear plan for your next steps.

Holding a BM in Guitar from Concordia University does not mean I sit around reading sheet music all day. My approach favors acoustic technique and raw strumming patterns over sterile finger exercises. Advanced learners and kids alike benefit from my 13 years of experience in the industry.
