About Aria
"Picking up a guitar for the first time felt like solving a complex physical puzzle. After graduating from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, I realised that many people struggle with the same basic barriers.
My 9 years of teaching have led me to work with 226 students including absolute beginners and self-taught players. I focus on acoustic technique and the nuances of fingerpicking.
My approach is straightforward and patient. I find that performance-focused students need structure more than anything else. Teaching is just about sharing the path I walked..."

"Honestly, the first time you play a chord transition cleanly is a surreal experience. We build your rhythm guitar skills using my custom backing tracks so you can practise soloing at home. This method ensures that the music stays in your ears throughout the week. Strumming patterns and barre chords are broken down into bite-sized pieces.
We also cover ear training and songwriting to keep your interest piqued. Whether you are an advanced learner or a returning player, I keep the steps manageable. You can expect a relaxed environment where we focus on the joy of playing."
