About Gerald
Instruction encompasses 11 years of professional work across diverse musical settings. My Eastman School of Music MMus degree informs the technical foundations I provide to students ranging from 4-year-old beginners to college prep high schoolers. Students master scales and arpeggios along with grade exam prep for ABRSM and Trinity boards.
We refine spiccato and staccato bowing while developing left-hand agility and posture. Tuning by ear and ear training sessions strengthen tone production. These skills are built through disciplined work in my Chicago studio.
