About Nancy
Fluency is rarely about speed and more about understanding the mechanics behind the language. Most people assume that rapid speaking equals higher proficiency, yet I find accuracy is a better metric for success.
We focus heavily on pronunciation and intonation to set you apart. Vocabulary building is integrated into every interaction we share. You will receive a homework module with feedback after every class. I look forward to supporting your progress in this beautiful language.

Teaching French allows me to bridge the gap between conservatoire rigour and linguistic precision, which serves you well in your own goals. My MMus from the Royal College of Music and BA from Cambridge shape how I listen to the nuances of your accent. Over 13 years, I have seen how students struggle with liaison and nasal sounds in particular.
I have taught hundreds of students to navigate these complex areas through steady, methodical work. You might be a traveller, a beginner, or preparing for a DELF exam. My approach focuses on vocabulary building and business fluency to ensure you feel prepared. I utilise my background to break down cultural context for you.
