About Reinaldo
Completing my MMus in Piano at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University established my technical foundation. Do you often wonder why your hands feel tight when playing complex passages? Since starting piano at 8 and performing my first public recital at 11, I have performed across North America for years.
Helping students rewire bad habits through 13 years of teaching requires patience. I focus on rhythm and timing, pedaling technique, and grade exam prep for ABRSM or Trinity. Silence often speaks louder than sound when we examine your posture during our initial meeting. A diagnostic playing assessment happens first so we can map out a structured learning plan together.
I emphasize hand shape and listening skills from the ground up to correct errors early. Refining your musical voice takes time.
My 13 years of experience informs how I guide you through rigorous technical exercises. We prioritize clarity over speed. Studying with a conservatory trained musician ensures every detail receives attention. Watching a student gain control over their instrument remains the most enjoyable part of this process.
