"Fifteen years ago, I started teaching by realizing that grammar is not a set of rules but a map of human connection. Many professionals believe they need to sound like native speakers to be effective, yet the true goal is simply to be understood with total confidence. Having taught 221 students ranging from absolute beginners to business travelers, I understand the unique pressures of the adult learner. My MA in French and CELTA qualification provide a structural framework for my ESL instruction.
I help working professionals prepare for high stakes interviews and complex academic writing tasks. I enjoy the quiet focus that comes from a student finally mastering a difficult concept. Success is often found in the small details of our daily interactions."
