Since I have 7 years of experience in the industry, I know how to break down complex tabs into manageable parts. Songwriting feels much simpler when you understand how the neck is organized. "I sometimes struggle to keep my pedalboard organized before a show. Performing in the Montreal folk scene for 9 years has taught me that gear is only as good as the hands playing it. My BA in Music from McGill University provides the theoretical foundation for the technical skills I share.
Having worked with 179 students, I know how to explain scales, modes, and ear training to kids and adults alike. Improvisation and reading sheet music become second nature when you remove the mystery from the fretboard.
