About Max
Math can be a hard subject for some, but that doesn't mean it's impossible to learn. I'm here to help you figure out your learning styles, find easy ways to remember formulas, and building confidence before a test. I didn't start out as the strongest math student in some of my classes, but I learned that it was because I wasn't understanding the way the teacher was showing us. If you're stuck figuring out how letters are able to work into formulas in Algebra, or just can't get the hang of long division, I'm here to help.

I understand that math, especiallyAlgebra, is not everyone's strong suit. Rather than seeing a student as "poor at math," it may simply be there we need to take a different teaching style. I would love to work with middle and high schoolers that are struggling and help them see that they aren't bad at math, it just needs to be seen a different way. I myself was not a strong student in Statistics, but with time and help from my own professor, she helped me understand and eventually helped me earn an A in the course.
