About the lesson

I’m a Maths tutor with over 3 years of experience and a BSc in Mathematics and Data Science. I’m passionate about helping students uncover the power and beauty of mathematics. A key focus of my teaching is probabilistic modelling using stochastic processes and Markov chains. These tools allow us to explore randomness in real-world systems, from financial markets to biological populations. I especially enjoy teaching random walks and transition probabilities. These concepts have exciting applications, such as predicting stock market trends or modelling population dynamics. My approach breaks down complex probabilistic ideas into simple, intuitive steps. I aim to help students not only solve problems but also understand the reasoning behind each solution. This strengthens confidence and quantitative analysis skills. Through examples, simulations, and interactive discussions, I make abstract ideas tangible. Students often leave sessions with clarity, curiosity, and a newfound appreciation for mathematics.
