About Arlene
I have been giving lessons approximately six years. I have tutored five private students and children in elementary school from grades 1-6. My three adult students from South America, except for their natural accent, now speak and understand English very well and can converse with anyone. My school students in elementary school were now able to be promoted to the next grade because they passed all their tests with no problem which made their parents proud and myself as well.

I am originally from New York where I did my tutoring. I taught students from South America and also tutored children in elementary school grades 1-6. I teach students of all ages from young to adults. My subjects consist of English, vocabulary, grammar, spelling, reading comprehension and sentence structure. I have a certification from Plaza Business College majoring in business English and Communication. My other courses included business law and business accounting along with transcription. I consider myself as a very understanding, compassionate and patient lady and enjoy tutoring my students to help them accomplish their goals for a better future. I try to make my lessons fun and interesting but yet effective as well.
