About Emily
I have a passion for mathematics. I excelled in alegebra and pre-calculus in high school; also pursued a college level calculus course in high school. My only experience in teaching others is family only. My mother struggled with algebra all of her high school experience, however, I was able to teach it to her 35 years later. My younger sister currently attends high school and I have tutored her in alegbra so she could achieve higher grades.

I prefer to understand the student's preferred method of teaching first. I'm very flexible with my ways of teaching. I am great at explaining along with visual aids to help the student understand concepts and then allowing them the opportunity to practice similar problems with my guidance as needed.
