About Jano
I have been an art teacher for over 15 years, teaching hundreds of students with a method I learned in NY that was originated at the MUSEUM OF MODERN ART. I am also a Master Gardener, and have expanded my method to include GARDEN BASED LEARNING activities from Cornell University, which involves an integrated curriculum of science, art, dramatic arts and journal writing.

I have combined my background as an art teacher and Master Gardener to include classes that include indoor and outdoor observation and drawing techniques and nature collage/collections that often culminate in group projects or murals. The science/art journals have been exhibited at a local after school art show, and have been well-received.
