About Kat
I am a degree level freelance artist with qualifications in graphic design, illustration and photography. I am trained in traditional and digital art and have many skills including: book making, screen printing, calligraphy, sewing and more. I have 7 years experience in teaching and supporting learning in colleges and schools and have helped many people pass their college assignments. I have provided in person drawing workshops in high schools through the UK and currently work as an art technician and support staff in the art department, helping students get into university to further their creative career.

My teaching methods are based in taking techniques back to basics and simplifying things. Quite often students are so focused in the small details of a piece of work or perfecting it that they lose the movement and flow that gives a work of art its charm. I work on helping students gain confidence and teach practical tips to give art movement and life.
