Depending on your level of knowledge and familiarity with the topic, my teaching method is explaining the basics, giving extensive examples, then creating small projects to be done together. After this other small projects to be done by you under my supervision. At this point we move to the next level. My rule is this: no matter what I have to make sure not only you learned the topic but you are became a hands on person in that topic.
