About Henry
I have a Master of Fine Arts from Rutgers University, 8 years of teaching experience at college level and more recently in local art centers, and have exhibited my work nationally. I'm interested in presenting an open, inclusive method of teaching with an emphasis on solid grounding in Drawing fundamentals, leading to experimentation and improvisation as well as discovering and encouraging the individual strengths and interests of each student.

An exploration of Drawing for all skill levels using basic materials (pencil and charcoal on paper to begin) and later incorporating color (color pencils, pastels, oil pastels etc.) and liquid mediums (water color and acrylic paints) to develop drawing skills. Demonstration of principles of art and design, constructive feedback and discussion of art ideas and history pertinent to a full investigation of drawing.
