About Neehar
I have a wide range of experience in the creative industries with experience in Visual Art, Design, Architecture, Film, Games and Animation. I am a practising artist and run workshops for both children and adults at various levels. I teach traditional academic training in art, having been trained under the Russian Academic method in Florence Italy. This training includes the art of seeing, measuring, sketching and documenting, understanding perspective, detailed, observational and constructive drawing in various mediums including graphite and charcoal, oil, acrylic, watercolour and pastel painting. I also teach anatomy for artists, portraiture, figure drawing, composition, colour theory and the history of Art and Architecture. I am passionate about teaching and sharing my knowledge and technical skills that my education and experience has given me. I very much enjoy inspiring and encouraging people to discover their creativity, recognise their talents and strengths and develop the relevant skills for artistic expression and practice. With the right guidance artistic expression can be nurtured and further developed. When creating one is also developing and improving oneself and this process of awareness and mindfulness is also a way of developing strong life skills. I offer life coaching as I feel that this is paramount to our growth, development and potential. Wellbeing is very much integral to the creative process and I also run workshops in art therapy yoga and meditation with a more intuitive and experimental approach to artistic expression and practice, self-discovery and inquiry.
