About Feef

I have a Master's Degree in Education from Harvard University. I have been signed to four music industry companies: Zomba, Yamaha Music, Rondor/Almo and Universal Music. I was awarded 1994 UK Artist of the Year by Yamaha Music and represented the UK in Japan at the Yamaha International Music Festival. I own and operate The Bloomfield Studios and have been teaching guitar, voice, bass, beginning piano for over twenty years. I am currently engineering, using Pro Tools and Logic, and producing Artists. I am also a recognized session player as guitarist, backing vocalist and banjo player in the Los Angeles area. As an Artist, I have released 12 albums and am known as Fjaere.

About the lesson

I teach at my private studio:PLEASE NOTE THESE HOURS: Mondays, Weds,, Thursdays, Fridays 10am, last session is 5pm. I work with adult clients only.
If you are in a slump and losing focus.
If you want to start singing and playing guitar or keyboard.
If you have song ideas but cannot finish.
If you want to be able to sing and play songs you love.
If you tried to study music through YouTube, but couldn't sustain.
You need a friend who has played and performed and written music for twenty years who will listen, champion and support you.
You need an instructor who will create goals you can achieve.
My sessions are for musicians who have plateau-ed, and songwriters who are stuck.
I work with adults only. Please do not contact unless you are serious and want to commit for a few months. Studio hours are M,W, R, F 10am, last session is 5pm. NO WEEKENDS or TUESDAYS or EVENINGS.
A typical plan: warm ups, work on playing a specific song: chords, rhythms, special hooks and licks.
I will be your side player and support your playing.
We will make adjustments as we go.
The whole point is that you shine and want to play and play!
IMPORTANT STUFF: I work with you in person, not online, in my studio, which is in North Hollywood. I'm keeping my rates reasonable, and totally excited to help you make things happen, so in truth I love working with anyone really wanting to dig in. This work can be life changing!

I am currently excited about helping with all of the basics needed to take songwriting to a more authentic and personal place. But we need to deal with getting organized. If we get into writing, we will need to talk about and explore what co-writing means. How do you deal with professionals and make sure you are fair to them whilst protecting your own interests? If you are serious about performing, recording, creating a project, writing and continuing to write, using social media, and developing a career, I can help with this.
