About Julia
I have been creating art most of my life. Around two years old I started drawing stick figures, and anything that I could think of and over the years that developed into skills that earned me awards with the Humane Society and the local newspaper for my drawings that I submitted. I also have years of art experience from college when I lived in California. I love expressing myself through art. It’s a great way to get your feelings down on paper when you don’t know what to say.

Have you ever wanted to learn how to draw or paint or what colors go great together in a calm understanding environment? It can be hard to put yourself out there, especially if we are out of our comfort zone. I love to teach in a way that is more about creating and doing something in the moment and less focused on the end results; though with the art experience I have, I can teach how to improve and build art that you can be proud of and understand how you got to the end result.
