About Mandy
I am an illustration student with a passion for helping others grow in their artistic abilities while building confidence in their creativity. My background includes experience working with children, which has strengthened my patience, communication skills, and ability to adapt to different learning styles.
I specialize in drawing, anime-inspired art, and mixed media, and I enjoy guiding students through both foundational techniques and creative expression. As both an artist and a student, I understand the challenges that come with learning something new, and I strive to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills.
I am committed to professionalism, reliability, and clear communication, and I take pride in helping each student progress at their own pace. My goal is not only to teach art, but to help students discover confidence in their unique creative voice.

My approach to teaching art is centered on meeting each student at their individual level and guiding them through step-by-step instruction. I focus on breaking down techniques into simple, manageable steps so students can build both skill and confidence at their own pace. A typical lesson may include a short demonstration, guided practice, and time for creative exploration, allowing students to apply what they’ve learned in a personal way.
What sets me apart is my experience working with children and my understanding of neurodivergent learning styles. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where each student feels comfortable, understood, and capable of growth.
My lessons are ideal for beginners to intermediate students, especially those interested in drawing, anime-style art, and mixed media, including students who benefit from a patient and adaptable teaching approach.
