About Ayla
I am a skilled and experienced Flute tutor with more than 11 years of teaching experience. I work with School students, College students, and working professionals who want to learn flute in a structured and supportive way.
My teaching style is patient, clear, and student-friendly. I focus on building strong fundamentals such as breath control, posture, finger technique, tone quality, rhythm accuracy, and musical expression.
Along with flute lessons, I teach music theory, sight reading, rhythm exercises, scale practice, ear training, and performance skills. I also help students prepare for exams, auditions, and performances.
My unique strength is helping students gain confidence through clear explanations and steady guidance. My aim is to help students develop a lifelong passion for music.

My teaching methodology for flute is built on clear communication, creativity, and flexibility. I believe learning music should be enjoyable, structured, and meaningful. Every student is different, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each learner’s age, level, goals, and learning speed.
Communication is the foundation of my teaching. I explain concepts in a simple and clear way, making sure students fully understand before moving forward. I encourage students to ask questions freely and express their difficulties without hesitation. Regular feedback and open discussion help students stay confident and motivated throughout their learning journey.
Creativity plays an important role in flute learning. I use creative exercises, musical games, and familiar tunes to make lessons engaging. Along with technical practice, I help students explore musical expression, tone colour, and phrasing. I encourage students to experiment with sound and develop their own musical voice, not just copy notes.
Flexibility is key in my lessons. I adjust lesson plans based on the student’s progress and comfort level. If a student struggles with a concept, I slow down and use alternative methods. If they progress faster, I introduce more challenging material. I also adapt lessons to suit exam preparation, performance goals, or hobby learning.
My flute teaching covers breathing techniques, posture, finger positioning, tone production, scales, rhythm, articulation, and musical interpretation. I focus on building strong fundamentals while gradually developing confidence and performance skills.
In addition to flute, I also teach related subjects such as music theory, sight reading, rhythm training, ear training, and basic music notation. These subjects help students become well-rounded musicians and understand music more deeply.
My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable, inspired, and motivated to grow musically at their own pace.
