Ashtanga yoga is an ancient Indian science of the body and mind. It is a systematic process of self realization. A powerful and effective method of discovering one's true self beginning from physical health. Through the practice of the Eight Limbs of Yoga described in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, we are able to “suspend the fluctuations of the mind” and find sustainable inner peace and stillness. Ashtanga yoga is a highly effective series of postures woven with breathing techniques to purify the body and calm the mind to deeper levels.
