About Victoria
Hi! I have experience teaching for over 7 years. I have taught different subjects, from English in Taiwan (sometimes conversing in Mandarin), to piano at my piano school, to swim lesson in my nearby YMCA. I have taught 1:1s as well as group lessons up to 20 students. I enjoy teaching and helping students out as I remember I used to have tutors myself. I want to pass along my knowledge as well as make our sessions fun!

My students range from ages kids to adults. I have taught some students who only know basic vocabulary to students who need help with their grammar and writing style. My technique of instruction is to tailor my approach to each student, even if there are multiple students in one class. Different students learn differently, so there has to be unique teaching methods for every student. The first lesson is usually very relaxed and open-ended as I want to learn as much about the student as I can to be able to better structure the rest of the curriculum. As the lessons progress, I will focus on strengthening their weaknesses while also continuing to develop their strengths!
