About Jacob
Hi! My name is Jacob, a high school student at W.P. Wagner High School who has a passionate liking for mathematics! Ever since I was in grade 3, I have always loved mathematics and found a natural talent in it. Just last year in grade 10, I got a 96% in AP math and an overall GPA of 3.5/4 (88%). Math has always been my best subject, and it's why I would love to use my skills in order to help those who need it! My ultimate goal with every student is to ensure ease of understanding and complete success in actual testing, as I love helping students when I get the chance!

Hey there! My name is Jacob and I am a high school student in grade 11 who wishes to help the younger students with achieving their goals within mathematics, a particular field that many struggle with however I have always thrived in. I wish to tutor students in grades 3-9 to my best ability to ensure complete success!
Typical lesson plans will include:
- Visual cues (diagrams, graphs, pictures, etc)
- Careful and slow explanations of concepts
- Handmade practice sheets w/ answer keys
- Mad-minute sessions for the younger grades
- Live lessons on whiteboard websites
As your tutor my ultimate goal is to understand your needs to my best ability in order to ensure success in both my teaching and your learning. I will put time at the beginning of every lesson to get to know you better; how you learn best, what helps you focus and everything I can do in order to ensure complete success!
