About Katelyn
I have been interested in writing and reading since I was able to pick up a pen. I went to college for two years in pursuit of an education degree and learned many helpful tools along the way. I did peer-to-peer tutoring and even though I chose a different career path, in the end, the English subject will always be a passion I am in pursuit of. The idea of being able to instill that passion into others brings me great joy. I look forward to curating learning experiences for others.

I teach in a style that is built to help each student learn in a way that is best for them. We will learn about the different learning styles so that I can know what different needs I am working with.
A typical lesson plan involves reading and writing. I like to approach the subject matter in a way that gets down to the big "why's" and "how to's." This inspires motivation and creativity which is needed to unlock your best writing potential.
I am approachable and make myself available. I strive to help each person reach their full potential.
I can teach any school-age person. I am able to help with essay revision for college-age but any age younger than that is more in my teaching range.
