About Wesley
I had a hard time in school and have accrued much failure. However, its the fact that I've failed that gives me insight on tutoring those who need help. I have 8 years experience in teaching Karate, 4 years experience in tutoring Algebra, and 3 years as an AVID tutor. Because of this, I have experience in teaching people of all ages.

Games and the Socratic Method comprise my teaching style. Games and questions stimulate thought, which I believe is more important than simple memorization. I also base my explanations on real world applications to help relate the information. My skill in lecturing comes from my method in studying, in fact. Whenever I studied, I would break the subject down as if I was teaching a class; my explanations had to be thorough and understood.
