Professor Abdo was my Arabic teacher while I was working in Yemen. He came recommended to me from other students and I feel lucky to have had time with him. Even though we were in different cities and my availability was inconsistent, he always found a way to fit me into his schedule and to keep my level from dropping. He provided materials, exercises, themed lessons and was very pleasant to speak to about general things too- not just Arabic classes. He was very patient(!) which was great for me since I am a slow learner, and I really appreciated that he always tried to find new ways to help me remember my vocabulary. He was a great teacher- trustworthy, kind, smart, fun, and honest. I can recommend him (10 out of 10) to any level of Arabic language student.

Abdo is a very professional Arabic trainer with excellent methods of teaching. I met Abdo in early 2024, when our senior management team needed an Arabic teacher because our organization was establishing an office in Yemen. We were connected with him by peer international humanitarian colleagues who had benefited from similar training.

The experience was excellent and very flexible: he trained us online, which meant he could reach every staff member wherever they were, even while on holiday. I would recommend him because of his grasp of languages, commitment, courtesy, and patience—even with slower learners—as well as his ability to teach mixed groups of students from different backgrounds and countries and his ability to manage lessons well and methodically to everyone’s satisfaction.
