About Tanzila K

My name is Tanzila Hussain, and I received my Ijazah to teach Qur’an recitation and Tajweed in my early twenties. With years of teaching experience, particularly with older children and adults, I am passionate about helping students improve their recitation with confidence and accuracy. I enjoy teaching because it allows me to share the knowledge I have been blessed to receive and support others in building a stronger connection with the Qur’an through correct recitation and a solid understanding of Tajweed.

About the lesson

My approach to Qur’an teaching focuses on accurate recitation and the proper application of Tajweed rules. Lessons are tailored to each student’s current level, whether they are beginners learning the basics or advanced students seeking mastery. As a fluent English speaker, I am able to explain Tajweed concepts, pronunciation rules, and common mistakes clearly and effectively, making lessons accessible and easy to understand. I emphasise precision, consistency, and individual feedback to help students develop confidence and fluency in their recitation. For those who wish to pursue higher levels of study, I can guide them through a structured programme leading towards Ijazah-level recitation, ensuring they meet the required standards of accuracy and excellence.
