Hi, I’m Bailey! I’m thrilled to be your guide on your academic journey. With an associate degree level of education focused on reading and writing, I am dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. About the lesson

I strive to create a tailored approach for writing, reading, and English tutoring focused primarily on middle school aged and younger students. I break down skills into manageable steps, helping students to gradually build their confidence and abilities!

A typical lesson plan would look like the following:

Introduction (10 mins): Introduce a specific writing or reading skill (crafting a strong thesis statement or using descriptive language, pronunciation, phonetics) with clear examples.

Guided Practice (15-20 mins): Work through an example together, allowing students to contribute ideas and questions.

Independent Practice (15-20 mins): Have students write or read a short piece using the skill introduced, providing support and guidance as they do so.

Review and Q&A (10-15 mins): Read a few pieces aloud and discuss what works well, addressing questions and highlighting areas for improvement.

Homework/Next Steps: Assign a task that builds on the day’s lesson, encouraging creativity and application of skills.
