About Larry

"My teaching approach helps students develop strong vocal control while making every lesson enjoyable and motivating. I work with learners of all levels and adjust lessons to match their goals and experience. Every session combines practical exercises with songs that students enjoy singing.

We focus on vocal agility, runs and riffs, melisma, navigating complex vocal passages, breath control, pitch accuracy, rhythm, ear training, harmony, and expressive singing. I introduce each skill step by step so students never feel overwhelmed. For example, we begin with simple note patterns before moving into faster vocal phrases with confidence.

I use clear demonstrations and repeat important exercises until they feel comfortable and natural. Regular feedback helps students improve without losing confidence. Small improvements each week lead to noticeable results over time.

I also prepare students who enjoy singing in close harmony groups and those who perform alongside traditional string-based music where detailed vocal expression is important. My lessons help singers handle detailed vocal embellishments with accuracy and confidence. As your technique improves, difficult vocal passages become smoother and more natural. You will sing with greater freedom, better control, and effortless grace."

About the lesson

I have been teaching singing for over 7 years, and I love helping children and early teens discover the joy of using their voices. I hold an Associate of Music in Contemporary Vocal Techniques, and I believe every child learns best when lessons are fun and encouraging. My classes are filled with energy, creativity, and plenty of smiles.

I use games, movement, and storytelling to teach pitch, rhythm, and basic vocal skills in a way that feels natural. These activities keep students engaged while helping them remember important musical ideas. One young student who was afraid to sing alone later performed confidently in a school talent show after practicing through fun role playing games.

I enjoy teaching folk songs, Disney songs, musical theatre pieces, and other age appropriate music that children enjoy singing. My lessons also help students prepare for school plays, concerts, and talent shows with growing confidence. I focus on healthy vocal habits so young voices develop safely while sounding their best.

Building confidence is just as important as learning the right notes. I encourage careful listening, teamwork, and enjoying every small success along the way. My goal is to help every young singer feel proud of their progress and excited to perform. Learning to sing should always be fun, safe, and full of exciting moments that help young voices shine on stage.
