About Samantha

My teaching approach helps students become confident pianists by developing strong listening skills together with practical playing techniques. I welcome beginners, intermediate learners, and advanced students. Every lesson is adjusted to suit your goals and learning style.

We work on ear training for pianists, identifying chords, melodies, rhythms by ear, music theory, improvisation, sight reading, rhythm exercises, chord progressions, and developing perfect pitch. These skills help students understand music instead of simply memorizing notes. I explain each topic through simple exercises that can be used in real songs.

For example, I often play a short melody or chord progression and ask students to find it on the keyboard by listening carefully. This activity improves confidence and strengthens musical memory over time. Regular feedback helps students understand their progress and continue improving.

I also support students who enjoy writing original music and those who create music using digital production tools. My lessons help learners recognize musical patterns naturally without depending only on sheet music. Over time, you will become a more intuitive musician with stronger listening skills and greater confidence at the piano.

About the lesson

I have been teaching piano for over 9 years, and I enjoy helping students reach their musical goals with confidence. I hold an Associate of Music in Piano Skills. My lessons are designed to be personal, encouraging, and practical for every learner.

I work with students preparing to lead worship, accompany community theatre productions, or perform with professional wedding bands. Every student has different goals, so I adjust each lesson to match their experience and musical interests. One student who wanted to play at weekend church services started with basic chords and now confidently leads worship every week.

I believe learning piano should be motivating and enjoyable instead of stressful. I focus on building strong technique while helping students develop confidence in real performance situations. We also work on rhythm, musical expression, chord progressions, and performance skills that can be used in many settings.

I enjoy teaching beginners, returning learners, and experienced musicians who want to grow further. Every lesson is built around steady progress and clear guidance. Watching students perform with confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. I would be happy to help you build your skills and enjoy every step of your piano journey.
