About Lisa (PhD)

Hi there! I am a data scientist with a PhD from University College London. I used to develop algorithms for chatbots that can engage in argumentative dialogues, trying to persuade the user to accept the chatbot's stance. My expertise therefore mainly lies in knowledge acquisition/representation and, of course, natural language processing (using Python). I also have over 10 years of experience in teaching and tutoring. Currently I am a digital nomad and freelancer but I will soon return to academia. I offer help and teaching in English, German and Russian

About the lesson

I worked as a teaching assistant and later as an associate lecturer for many years at some of the best UK universities and hence know exactly what is expected from students to get top grades in their homeworks, courseworks, and dissertations. I offer the following services: - coursework help (coding and report writing) - lectures on NLP and/or Machine Learning for professionals who want to gain deeper understanding in those subjects - dissertation help (research, coding, writing) - statistical analysis using R - hand-holding students throughout their degree My prep rate/offline rate is 50 pounds per hour. Online rate is 60 pounds an hour.

My offline rates are 40 pounds (prep, proof-reading, research, coursework support etc.), and online rates (via webcam) are 60 pounds. I do not offer my first class for free but the initial intro call (ca 15 minutes) is free. This is to avoid students abusing many tutors to get help with their courseworks and not having to pay for it.
