With 30+ years experience, I am a friendly & professional piano teacher from a long line of musicians. I specialise in beginners for children and adults, and have taught from 6 - 86 years of age.
I am an 'Associate of the London College of Music' (ALCM TD), Composer and Children's Author, and have many years of experience teaching children and adults alike.
I am classically trained and I value the importance of the correct technique from the very beginning, which in turn assists every student to reach their full potential.
It is important to learn to play the genre of music of your choice, whether that be classical, modern, jazz, show tunes etc whilst ensuring a sound foundation in technique.
I also teach music theory lessons for beginners, whether for the very young with their parents, children of all ages, adults, or the more mature adult, always valuing the importance of learning at your own pace, and keeping it fun!
So always remember, 'it is never too late to learn!
