About Kenya

About Your Tutor: Practical Wisdom Meets Celestial Insight I bridge ancient astrology with modern, actionable wellness. My background is uniquely grounded, ensuring your lessons are both insightful and professional. Why Learn with Me? My Credentials Matter. I offer more than just spiritual enthusiasm; I provide accredited, expert guidance: Academic Educator: I am a Health Science Assistant Professor (teaching holistic wellness and student development). I know how to structure clear, results-focused learning. Certified Wellness Coach: I run my own holistic wellness company, where I use the birth chart daily as a tool for personal transformation. Master's degree in counseling: This degree ensures I approach your chart with deep psychological understanding and professionalism. My journey with astrology began in childhood and grew through advanced training as an adult. When you study with me, you are learning from a certified professional and experienced educator who will keep your learning relatable, practical, and focused on your real-life well-being. Let's unlock the practical wisdom hidden in your stars!

About the lesson

Unlock Your Personal Power: Astrology Tutoring for Self-Discovery

Ready to truly understand your birth chart? I teach astrology not as a complex academic subject, but as a practical, relatable tool for personal growth. You'll move past simple Sun signs and learn to interpret your chart for real-life insight and self-care strategies.

My Approach & Teaching Method
My core philosophy is making the stars accessible and personal.

Relatable Learning: We skip the jargon. My method uses real-life examples and modern psychological frameworks so you can instantly grasp the meaning of each planet, sign, and house.

Your Chart is the Textbook: We focus heavily on your own birth chart. By analyzing your placements, you'll immediately see the concepts in action, making the learning stick and feel intensely relevant.

The Full Picture: We explore both the gifts (high frequency) and the challenges (shadows) of every placement. This balanced view gives you a complete understanding of your potential and how to navigate difficulties.

A Typical Lesson Plan
Every lesson is tailored to your current knowledge and goals, but the focus is always on practical application:

Check-in & Concept: We introduce a new key concept (e.g., Saturn's lessons or the meaning of the 6th House).

Chart Work: We immediately apply that concept to your chart, identifying its location and influence in your life.

Insight & Strategy: We discuss how this placement plays out in your reality, and I provide specific self-care and understanding strategies based on the astrological themes.

What Sets Me Apart
I offer more than just definitions. My goal is to empower you to use astrology daily:

Self-Care Focus: You will finish our sessions with a personalized toolkit of strategies for healing, managing stress, and self-compassion, all rooted in your unique chart mechanics.

Practical Mastery: By the end of our sessions, you will be able to perform a basic, accurate interpretation of your own chart, giving you clarity and confidence.

Accessible Expertise: I translate complex astrological tradition into simple, actionable insights you can use immediately.

Who These Lessons Are For
These personalized sessions are perfect for anyone seeking deeper understanding:

The Curious Beginner: No prior knowledge is needed. Start with the foundations and learn how to read your own blueprint.

The Self-Help Seeker: Anyone interested in using astrology as a powerful tool for self-awareness, therapy, and personal development.

The Intermediate Learner: Deepen your knowledge of specific areas like aspects, transits, and house systems with a focus on practical interpretation.

Stop guessing and start knowing. Book a session and begin your journey to self-mastery today!

Receiving instruction from Kenya has been life changing! Exploring the planets, the zodiac signs that they rule and the aspects of life that are represented by each house in astrology has allowed me to make sense of so much in my own life and has helped me to understand and connect with others. Kenya is a patient and thorough teacher who lays a solid foundation for discovering the beauty, and more importantly, truth in astrology. I highly recommend her astrology training.
