About Ben
Currently, I am studying a PhD in Astronomy at PUC, Chile. Therefore, all of my lessons will be online. I obtained a Master's in research astronomy from the University of Bristol in 2021. I have a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Astronomy from Cardiff University. I have 8 years of experience in high-level physics, mathematics and Python. Furthermore, my education in Chile has improved my Spanish to a level that I would be happy teaching in. Therefore, I offer lessons in English or Spanish and can also offer language lessons to either English or Spanish native speakers.

My teaching methods focus on a student understanding the applicability of a topic in question. Therefore, the majority of their time will be spent working on real-world problems involving the topic. I aim to maximise a student's potential, by focusing on the chapters of a subject that they struggle with. The teaching of a student should be a conversation between myself and the student, often getting them to explain their understanding of the subject, as I believe that this method maximises retention of knowledge. From my years as a student, one of the skills that I have acquired, that I feel is the most valuable, is the ability to ask GOOD questions. Therefore, this will also be a core value in my teaching.
