About Gabi
I am a student at the University of Cape Town, finishing my last 6 months in a Bachelor of Science in Astrophysics and Mathematics. I have 7 years of experience with tutoring High School kids in maths, physics, chemistry, geography and English! I obtained an over 85% average at school throughout my high school career. I believe that everyone can achieve this too if they are given a fun learning environment and a teacher/tutor who can explain concepts in a relatable way. There is no such thing as a stupid question!

My teaching methodology is to always start with the basics. Often a tutor will ask a student what areas they struggle with in a subject and (more often than not) they don't even know where to begin. And that is okay! We have all been there and felt overwhelmed.
My approach is to start at the beginning and lay the foundations well and to keep building on that - making sure the student feels happy and confident in the work every step of the way.
I also believe that practice is key when it comes to subjects like maths - so I will always encourage lots of practice and examples.
