About Megan
I am an astrophysics graduate from the world class program at CU Boulder. I worked as a learning assistant for an upper division astrophysics course and as an individual physics and calculus tutor for 4 years. I have effectively taught over 50 students, enabling them to better understand difficult problem solving strategies in physics and calculus applications.

I teach by encouraging guided discussion and hands on work. In the past few years there have been multiple studies that show the best way to learn and absorb knowledge in the STEM related fields is by submerging yourself in the topic with discussion, and working with teams.

Details
If a student misses a session I will charge half of the price of the lesson - this is to encourage the students to attend the appointments. If the course you are seeking to be tutored in is upper division my hourly price will vary up to $35/hr depending on the difficulty of the course. For more difficult courses I will be spending more time on my own preparing for the lesson to ensure you get what you need!
