About Amal
I am a BSc. Astrophysics graduate currently undertaking a MSc. Astrophysics degree eager to teach maths to students of all levels including Primary School, Junior Cert and Leaving Certificate Mathematics. I have over 7 years experience in tutoring and have tutored over 25 students and attained full marks in the Leaving Cert including a H1 in Maths, Physics and Applied Maths.

I have taught many students over the years, studying for Junior Cert and Leaving cert. I started my tuition centre seven years ago and since then I have received more than 25 students whom I helped to succeeed in their learning process.
I am very adept at teaching Leaving cert and Junior Cert maths. I try my best to make the students understand maths, not learn it off. Usually, I take my class on either zoom or google meets, and it usually lasts an hour or so. If students have any problems, I try to sort out their issues, if not, I move on forward with the syllabus. Every class starts off with I showing my students how to tackle a certain topic, then I let my student to try it out and see if they understand what they are doing. I continually ask them questions during my class so that they can be more engaged in the class and also understand it better. I am a strong believer of understanding topics, and I try to minimise to the learn off aspect of mathematics and chemistry to a near zero. My methodology is " Be happy as long as you can write the next line".
