About Kim
I’m a friendly and experienced math tutor with over 6 years of teaching experience, working with students from primary school through to high school in both private tutoring and tuition center settings. I achieved a 99+ ATAR in 2020 and later completed a degree in Dentistry, where strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
I really enjoy helping students gain confidence in math and believe that with the right guidance, every student can improve. I aim to create a supportive and comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and work through challenges at their own pace. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them develop a clearer understanding of math and feel more confident in their abilities.

I focus on helping students really understand maths concepts rather than just memorising steps. I break questions down clearly and guide students through problems so they build confidence solving them independently.
Lessons are tailored to each student and what they are currently learning at school. We go through examples together and practise questions during the lesson, and I also provide targeted homework to reinforce the topic and help improve results over time.
Typically 60 minutes per lesson however can provide flexibility depending on student needs.
