About Arushi
Hi! I'm Arushi, a 2024 high school graduate and a current Monash University student studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) and Commerce. I've always had a passion for English and Math, which inspired me to start tutoring and help students realize that learning doesn't have to be stressful or overwhelming.
I tutor Primary English and Math, as well as English for students in Years 7–10. I have experience teaching primary school students and helping them build confidence in reading, writing, spelling, comprehension and mathematics. Throughout VCE, I achieved a Study Score of 42 in English and consistently received outstanding results, including multiple 100% and 90%+ marks on assessed essays and oral presentations.
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy playing tennis, self-care and fashion.
Seeing my students grow in confidence, achieve their goals and become proud of their progress is the most rewarding part of tutoring.

My lessons are personalised, engaging and designed to help every student improve their skills, confidence and academic performance. I believe one of my greatest strengths as a tutor is my ability to make both English and Maths approachable, enjoyable and easy to understand.
For English, I bring a clear, formulaic approach to what is often seen as an open-ended and interpretive subject. Having mastered effective writing structures for all major essay types, I guide students step by step, sentence by sentence and word by word to help them produce high-quality responses with confidence. At school, I was recognised for offering the most unique and insightful interpretations of the novels we studied, reflecting my creativity, originality and strong analytical skills. Whether your child needs help with reading comprehension, grammar, creative writing, persuasive writing, text response essays or oral presentations, I tailor my lessons to suit their needs while helping them build confidence in expressing their ideas.
For Maths, I excel at breaking down complex concepts into simple, clear explanations that are easy to understand, regardless of the topic. I believe that a strong mathematical foundation is the key to long-term success, so I ensure students fully understand each concept before moving on to more challenging material. I patiently guide students through difficult questions, encouraging logical thinking, problem-solving skills and confidence in their own abilities.
Every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand each individual's strengths, challenges and learning style. I adapt every lesson accordingly, creating a supportive, encouraging and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as they learn.
My goal isn't just to help students achieve better grades, it's to spark a genuine interest in learning, build long-term confidence and equip them with the skills they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
