About Kelly

I am a dedicated and approachable tutor with a passion for helping students achieve their academic goals in mathematics. I’m currently completing a Bachelor of Software Engineering and Commerce at Monash University and graduated with an ATAR of 98.6, including a perfect raw score of 50 in VCE General Mathematics. With over 200 hours of tutoring experience, I’ve worked with students from a range of backgrounds, helping them grow in confidence and improve their results—whether they’re catching up, aiming for top marks in VCE, or preparing for selective school entry exams. I bring a calm, clear, and structured approach to every lesson, tailored to each student’s individual learning style. My sessions focus on building deep understanding, mastering exam techniques, and fostering a positive attitude towards learning. I also hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and am committed to creating a safe, encouraging, and supportive environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow.

I place a strong emphasis on exam preparation, incorporating past papers, time management strategies, and targeted revision sessions. Whether it’s VCE or selective school entry exams, I help students become familiar with the exam format and develop effective test-taking techniques.

Typical Length of a Lesson:
Lessons are typically 60 minutes in length, providing an ideal balance between focus and depth. Longer sessions can be arranged upon request, particularly for intensive exam preparation or revision blocks.

Qualifications and Experience:
I hold a Bachelor of Engineering and Commerce from Monash University and have over 200 hours of tutoring experience. I also hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC). My background in both analytical thinking and communication enables me to explain difficult topics clearly and support students at all levels.
