About Emma

I’m passionate about helping students simplify their learning journey. Having spent my high school years studying intensely, I understand the challenges of ATAR subjects and want to make them easier and more approachable for students who struggle. Beyond tutoring, I enjoy tennis and robotics. I’ve competed in RoboCup competitions, winning at a national level and representing Australia internationally. My goal is to make learning engaging, effective, and stress-free, so students can gain confidence and achieve their best results. About the lesson

I’ve achieved strong results in helping students significantly improve their understanding, performance, and confidence. Many students I’ve worked with have gone from feeling lost on key topics to approaching exam questions with clarity and independence.

My teaching is highly targeted and effective because:

->Questions are primarily sourced from past exam papers, ensuring students practise what actually matters
->I’ve built a comprehensive database of exam-style questions and patterns, especially for Year 11 & Year 12
->I focus on clear explanations and breaking down complex concepts into simple, logical steps
->Emphasis on step-by-step problem-solving, not just memorising formulas
->I teach exam strategies and techniques used by top-performing students
Lessons are tailored to each student’s level, pace, and goals

Beyond academics, I also support students with:

->Building confidence in tackling difficult questions
->Developing effective study habits and consistency
->Maintaining motivation, using relatable analogies to make concepts easier to understand
->Making learning engaging and enjoyable, even for challenging senior topics

I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes—because that’s where real improvement happens.
