About Patrick
I received state rank marks for Maths, Latin and Latin Extension for my year 12 exams. I am currently studying Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne as a Chancellor's Scholar having received an ATAR of 99.90. I have also been involved in several different extension programs including the Michael Bishop Chemistry Research Award, the Chemistry Olympiad and the Open Source Malaria Project where we attracted worldwide attention for successfully synthesising an anti-malarial drug in a school laboratory. I currently tutor several students privately and have experience as a teacher at a maths coaching college.

For me, doing well in year 12 came from not only hard work, but also a very solid understanding of the foundations of a subject. On top of that, I tried to understand concepts from multiple angles, even going beyond the syllabus in extension programs, before applying it through rigorous practice. If you just want help with your subjects, I can do that. But if you really want to push yourself or set yourself up to do so in the future, then I would be very keen to help you.
