About Sophie
I work for the ambulance service and run my own tuition business, where I’m passionate about helping students reach their full potential. I studied biomedical sciences, which gives me a strong foundation in science and a deep understanding of how to break down complex topics. Outside of work, I enjoy paddle boarding, reading, going to the gym, and spending quality time with my family. My diverse experiences help me bring energy, empathy, and real-world insight into everything I do.

When I teach a lesson, I focus on understanding how my student learns best so I can tailor my approach to suit their needs. I break down complex ideas into simple, clear steps and use real-life examples to make the material more relatable. Throughout the session, I check for understanding and encourage questions to keep the student actively engaged. My goal is not just to help them find the right answers, but to build their confidence and give them the tools to think critically and solve problems independently.
