About John
I’ve learned all of my life to play and sing by ear and understand the value of being able to hear and recreate music. Through my Professional Audio Engineering experience, I have come to a more objective understanding of the parameters of time and pitch. I can teach several musical skills like relative pitch, key and chord progression identification, etc. without sucking the life out of everything. Making music is and should be so much fun!

I can offer in-depth lessons to beginner-intermediate instrumentalists and singers covering rudimentary understanding of both the musical and biological components that are at play when we are learning new skills. Without getting “bogged down” in the rigid classroom environment, you can learn to sing and play your favorite songs, riffs, etc. by ear.
