About Taye
I am a reliable and passionate Piano tutor with 11 years of teaching and professional experience. I teach piano to school and college students and strongly believe that music education can shape both skill and confidence in learners.
One meaningful milestone in my career was helping students grow from beginners into confident and expressive performers. Seeing students enjoy music and perform successfully has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my teaching.
My lessons focus on developing strong fundamentals such as finger control, hand coordination, rhythm accuracy, posture, and music reading. I also introduce music theory in a simple, practical way to enhance understanding and independence.
I believe learning piano nurtures focus, discipline, creativity, and emotional expression. Music helps students build self-confidence and develop habits that benefit their academic and personal life.
My teaching style is calm, encouraging, and student-centred. I adapt lessons to each learner’s pace and goals while making learning enjoyable and motivating. My aim is to inspire students to love piano and continue their musical journey with confidence.

My teaching philosophy is interactive, adaptive, and creativity-driven, designed to nurture both technical skill and musical expression. I prioritise communication, ensuring students understand finger techniques, posture, rhythm, and music theory in a clear, practical way. Lessons are tailored to the student’s learning style and pace, helping beginners gain confidence and advanced students remain challenged and motivated.
I use real-life examples and case studies to make learning meaningful, such as analysing favourite songs, exploring classical works, and demonstrating music’s role in films, performances, and everyday situations. In addition to piano, I teach sight-reading, music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, improvisation, and performance preparation, giving students a well-rounded understanding of music. My methodology fosters creativity, discipline, confidence, and technical mastery, guiding students to perform skilfully and enjoy a lifelong love for music.
