About Arifeen
I am a graduate of UT Austin's McCombs School of Business in 2021 with a BBA in Management Information Systems, a minor in Computer Science, and advanced coursework in mathematics concepts including calculus, discrete math, differential equations, and linear algebra. I am an ex-consultant from Deloitte having worked there for over a year as an IT Consultant. I have experience tutoring college students at UT in python, accounting, and math for a year at the Sanger Learning Center. I also have experience tutoring elementary and middle school kids in a LEGO robotics class from high school I held. Finally, I am also a freelance ML and data science tutor, and am applying to grad schools for fall '23.

Hello! My name is Arifeen. I am a tutor who will ensure you will leave sessions fully understanding what you came to learn. I will work with you every step of the way with patience, filling in gaps holistically and explaining concepts slowly and in a fun way so that you have time to enjoy the other great things in life once we're done!
My lessons are for all students trying to improve their math or python programming (Computer Science) skills. For math, any student ranging from middle school pre-algebra to high school math in precalculus, statistics, geometry and trigonometry all the way to undergraduate linear algebra, differential equations, calculus and more... these are all up my alley!
A typical lesson plan for me would involve me lecturing for 10 minutes, stopping for 10 minutes to resolve any disputes, 20 minutes of practice questions, 10 minutes of a break, and 10 min to go over questions and do the next potential session!
