About Justin
As a life-long student and teacher, my last few years of grade-school were consumed with the Compton's Encyclopedia which enabled me to be a teacher's aid on into highschool, college and at Western Michigan University where my studies ranged from mechanical engineering to geophysics, plate tectonics, mining and minerology. I then I joined my father's new tech company in 1993 providing computer systems integration in the 1990s as an IBM business partner and I was the first in the world to set up a mission critical application in a hospital to translate spoke word medical terms into text by voice-to-text analysis. In 1995 I started research and development on sustainable energy infrastructure systems leading me into the role as subject matter expert for energy infrastructure for government and private agencies. I started writing my homeschool handbook in the late 1990s but had to save it until a few years ago and finally was able to publish world wide. My hobby has been collecting and reading hold history and technical reference books, the older the better!

The quality of education comes from the quality of the questions we ask. Everything starts with asking questions as we seek knowledge and understanding. We are all on a 'quest' for knowledge and the word 'quest' is the first part of that vital word: question. So we always begin every lesson with a question and explore your interests in the direction the questions will lead.
