About Owen
I am an incoming Computer Science student at the University of Bristol, having achieved A grades in both A-level Mathematics and Computer Science. As someone who has recently completed these subjects, I understand the challenges students commonly face and can explain difficult ideas in a clear and relatable way.
I am patient, approachable and genuinely enjoy helping others develop their understanding. My goal is to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions, making mistakes and improving at their own pace.

I focus on understanding rather than memorisation. I start by identifying where a student is struggling, including any gaps in earlier topics, before working through questions from basic practice to exam-style problems.
For Maths, I explain why methods work before applying them. For Computer Science, I use clear explanations, diagrams and worked examples to make theory easier to understand.
Lessons are usually 1 hour and are aimed at GCSE and A-level students. As a recent A-level student myself, I remember what can be confusing and try to explain things in a simple, relatable way.
