About Aditya
I am Aditya V Nair, a pre-final year student from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal. I have had a passion for academics since time immemorial. Physics and mathematics particularly capture my mind which is in part, a driving reason for me to pursue mechanical engineering. I aspire to contribute effectively to the aerospace and defense industry someday. I believe in what Feynman once remarked, "If you want to master something, teach it". As one teaches, you realize more nuances to the subject which is the natural consequence of introspection and looking at something from a different perspective. Teaching also leads to new perspectives being presented from the students as well which aids in building one's empathy and can sum up to a well-rounded engineer. My goal is to inculcate a passion for the subject with an emphasis towards the fundamentals to enable better application of the same.

My approach to any subject starts with the need to create an inherent drive to study it.
Thereby, motivation for learning a subject and it's applications or overview of it's scope would be my starting point.
This would serve as a top-to-bottom approach of sorts wherein, a bird's eye-view of the topic is given at first and then, we work our way up from fundamentals to the depth as required by a student.
In order to make classes engaging, an approach of experiential learning is inculcated by the use of code or simulations at times to gain an intuitive sense of the topic at hand.
Teaching resources include but are not limited to a comprehensive set of notes/ readings/presentations made available by a restricted-access google drive link, requisite code for simulations and suggested readings and hand-picked questions to emphasis hard conceptual understanding.
Structure of a class is variable owing to varying priorities of learning outcomes of each student.
The classes are intended for high-school students and undergraduate students primarily.
