About Rebecca
I spent the first years of my career as an award-winning researcher, specialising in the history of the Middle East and Africa. During this time I completed my PhD.
Over the past 12 years, however, I have been teaching a range of subjects to students from a variety of cultural and educational backgrounds - including those with SEN - and I love it.
By working hard with me, my students have gone on to achieve top marks in their GCSEs and A-Levels, successfully completed vocational certificates and diplomas, been accepted into world-class training programmes, and gained new confidence in their abilities. I am relentlessly optimistic about what people can achieve - and experience has shown me that you can be, too.

Perfect! Rebeca is an amazing tutor to have she’s really thoughtful and all her lessons are tailored to that specific student. She’s not a type of tutor where everything is structured the way the teacher wants the lessons to go she and I sat down on our first lesson and came up with a plan together picking out what my weaknesses were and what’s need to improve on before my exams start. Rebecca a great tutor to have as even though I’ve along been with her since December my confidence and liking for the subject of alevel geography has increased and both my teachers and friends have seen it.
- Milly is an excellent student with fantastic analytical skills and passion to know more about Geography.Rebecca's response :
Perfect! Rebecca is a friendly, motivating tutor who takes her students aspirations into account while teaching. This has inspired me to work hard and her excitement towards my achievements shows her real investment towards her students excellence. Her lessons are carefully crafted towards the things you need help to improve and what is best suited for you. Additionally, her teaching style allows a comfortable environment to learn in. Rebecca also had easily adjusts her lesson plans when I have last minute changed my mind about what I would like to cover in a lesson. She is flexible with her timings and makes herself available when extra help is needed outside of lessons. Her reliability and commitment towards her students is encouraging due to it showing the work she is putting in to ensure they reach their goals. She actively makes sure I am confident with what we have learnt and when I am not goes into deeper analysis and breaks it down into ways which are easier to understand. Her teaching has clarified A Level RE into a way in which I have a deep understanding of the topic and it allows me to have clear mindset in lessons when in the past I have gotten lost in the complexity of the subject. This caring, positive and patient attitude allows for great qualities to have in a tutor and motivates me personally to engage more in her lessons.
- Hamna is an extraordinarily clever student, who grasps complex ideas quickly, and can smoothly form opinions on the material. She is dedicated to working hard towards her own success, a quality that will ensure she goes far in life.Rebecca's response :

Lessons are typically 1hr long, but can be shortened or extended if required.
While I am willing to discuss rates, I generally charge £45/hr. This is a very competitive rate that takes into account my extensive experience and demonstrable teaching excellence, but also remains accessible to a range of families and their situations.
I am available to teach small groups, with rates dependent on group size.
